The second officer supports the Captain and Chief Officer with watchkeeping, navigation, and guest relations.
Officer of the Watch (OW) certification with experience on liveaboard vessels. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols. Experience conducting safety briefings and drills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in operating deck equipment and tenders (skiffs).
The Chief Officer assists the captain in all operational aspects of the vessel. They are responsible for deck operations, safety drills, and guests' disembarkation/embarkation.
License with experience operating liveaboard vessels. Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of international maritime law. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing a crew and fostering a positive work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The captain is ultimately responsible for the safety and security of the vessel, crew, and guests. They oversee all aspects of the ship's operation, navigation, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. Choose routes, manage the crew duties and process ship documentation.

Conduct classes for prospective diver and specialty courses, acts as a guide during trips, assists guests with their needs. Learn how to plan according to the tide tables and weather forecasts, to help prepare the boats every morning, help the customer fit gear, and to ensure enough tanks are prepared for the boat.
